Cynthia Hawkins-Bowland is part of a family of UNT alumni who celebrated their Mean Green spirit during the 2023 winter holiday season as the youngest member, Sarah “Eden” Norris, will become a freshman in fall 2024. They are, from left to right, her grandmother Jeanette Parsons (’77), her aunt Hawkins-Bowland (’69), her father Jay Norris (’92) and Eden.
