Clint Oppie

Clint Oppie  Clint A. Oppie ('95) has been a counter-rocket, artillery and mortar operations lead in Afghanistan for five years. The C-RAM systems detect and shoot down indirect fire targeted at forward operating bases by the Taliban -- preventing loss of life for military members and civilians working at the bases. He served in the U.S. Army and was promoted to sergeant during Operation Iraqi Freedom. During his time at UNT, he was a member of Phi Alpha Theta and became an extra for the filming of Necessary Roughness on campus. He is pursuing an M.B.A. from Florida Tech University.
