Christopher Menking

Christopher N. Menking (M.A., ’19 Ph.D.), Aledo, is a professor of history at Tarrant County College. His book, Quartermasters of Conquest: The Mexican-American War and the Making of South Texas, 1846–1860, was published by The University of Oklahoma Press. At UNT, where he earned a master’s and Ph.D. in history, he was involved with the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society, Professional Development Society for Promising Historians and the Graduate Student Council.
