Bret Adams (’83), San Antonio, retired in 2023 after 15 years of working at three different state agencies, handling continuity of operations, risk management and emergency preparedness. He spoke numerous times at the annual Texas State Emergency Management Conference and also at the National Hurricane Conference. He spends time playing guitar and singing at assisted living centers, learning pickleball (a challenge for a former tennis and racquetball player), running 10K and half marathon races and travelling with his person, Robin.
