Bret Adams

Bret Adams, Austin, works as business continuity and risk manager for the Texas Office of the Attorney General with plans to retire in 2025. He has two grandchildren from his daughter, Kristen, a nurse in Dallas. A guitarist who performed at coffee shops before the COVID-19 pandemic, he hopes to play more gigs after retirement and attend more Mean Green football games. While at UNT, he was a member of the Talons and the Clark Hall Dorm Association. His favorite campus memories include sharing beers with fellow Talon Sherman Swartz (’82) before basketball games and meeting Marcella Thompson (’85), his now ex-wife, at Clark Hall.
