Becky Villareal

Becky Villareal ('94), Garland published her first book, Gianna the Great (Anaiah Press), in March focusing on different aspects of teaching, genealogy and the Hispanic culture. Her second book Halito Gianna came out in December. She has been an elementary school teacher in the Dallas ISD for 21 years while becoming a mentor to many new teachers. For the past 10 years she has been involved with genealogy, completing family research on her mother’s and father’s family.
