Ann Ackerman

Ann Trugman Ackerman ('68, ’69 M.A., ’84 Ph.D.), Nashua, N.H was elected president of the New Hampshire Fulbright Alumni Chapter. She has served as a teacher and administrator at high schools and universities in multiple states and is now an adjunct professor of humanities and history at Nashua Community College in New Hampshire and a visiting associate professor of education at Fitchburg State University in Massachusetts. She also is a frequent presenter at professional conferences, serves on several New Hampshire Department of Education committees and publishes in her field. She earned her North Texas degrees in history and English, studying under the late Bullitt Lowry.
