Andrew Brininstool (’05), Grapevine, wrote the true crime book High Desert Blood: The 1980 New Mexico Prison Riot and the Tragedy of the Williams Brothers, about one of the deadliest incidents in the U.S. penal system. Andrew is a National Endowment for the Arts fellow whose work has appeared in several literary magazines.
