Alice Owen (Ph.D.), Irving who retired as the Irving ISD’s division director of technology, accepted the position of executive director of the Texas K12 CTO Council, a statewide nonprofit organization of school district technology leaders. The council was organized in 2003 as the first state chapter of the Consortium for School Networking and assists Texas school districts in understanding how to plan for the use and implementation of information technology.
