Betty Schafer Hurst,
Wheaton, Ill., retired in June after 31 years with the Wheaton-Warrenville
Schools, the last 24 years as a reading specialist. She and her
husband, Russ, serve together as performer liaison for the Fox
Valley Folklore Society's annual festival in Geneva, Ill.
They have five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Ray Moseley,
London, England, was awarded an honorary MBE in the Queens 2003
Birthday Honours for his service to journalism. Moseley spent
18 years as the Chicago Tribune's chief European correspondent
based in London before retiring in 2001 to live there with his
wife, Jennifer. The British awards are given for exceptional
achievement or public service. Ranks in the order range from
knight
or dame grand cross (GBE) to member (MBE).
