Tommy J. Boley,
El Paso, retired from the University of Texas-El Paso after 31 years.
While at UTEP, he served as director of English education and began
three programs. He currently serves as a consultant to Barrett Kendall
Publishing Co. in Austin.

Duncanville, celebrated his 70th birthday in May with a solo show
of 27 kinetic sculptures in the gallery at Collin County Community
Colleges Spring Creek campus.

Bertram, retired as principal of Liberty Hill Elementary after 33
years in education.

Pinky Robertson,
Andrews, received the Distinguished Service Award from the Texas
Archaeology Society for 2000. For the past 15 years, he has served
as merchandising chair for the organization and was recently named
a Volunteer Archaeological Steward.

B. Smith Jr.,
Clifton, received the 2001 Earl M. Collier Award for Distinguished
Health Care Administration from the Texas Hospital Association.
Smith has served as CEO of Goodall-Witcher Healthcare Foundation
for the past 34 years.
