She was a life member of the Grapevine Historical Society and served as coordinator for the award-winning book Grapevine’s Most Unforgettable Characters. She was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church in Grapevine and was a member and former president of the Bay View Club. At North Texas, she was a member of Delta Gamma.
