He was an OB-GYN who delivered thousands of babies at Parkland Memorial Hospital and his private practice. He was the first OB-GYN at Dallas’ Methodist hospital to administer an epidural anesthetic. He was director of OB-GYN training, department chairman, president of the medical staff and a member of the board of trustees at the Methodist Dallas Medical Center. Between his studies at North Texas, Moore served as a hospital corpsman in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and also served in the 2nd Marine Division.</main-content></item>
