Robert E. Lee “Lee J.” Capps Jr. (’64), 83, died Sept. 16, 2025. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in industrial arts and served in the U.S. Navy Reserves. He worked for Sun Oil Co. and Ford Motor Co. In his free time, he enjoyed racing dragsters and serving on the Denton County Historical Commission. With his wife of 56 years, Peggy (’68), he was a member of the President's Council and donated to various scholarships supporting students in the College of Music. He also was a member of the Community Support Council.
