Nelda Sue Fortune-Crawford (’66, ’69 M.Ed.), 81, Lampasas, died Oct. 6, 2024. Nelda dedicated her life to education. She served over 40 years in roles as a teacher, a curriculum specialist for Bryan ISD and an assistant superintendent for Early ISD and Lampasas ISD, retiring in 2010. She was an active member of Kappa Delta Pi, an honor society for educators, throughout her life. She enjoyed traveling, collecting antique furniture and ceramics, and cooking and baking.
