Nancy McMillan Dedman, 97, Dallas, died Oct. 8, 2025. Nancy and her late husband, Robert Dedman, were founders of ClubCorp, which they led to become the world’s largest owner and operator of private clubs. Nancy served on the ClubCorp Board from 1957 to 2006 and also served for decades on the boards of the Dedman Foundation and the Robert & Nancy Dedman Foundation.

A passionate supporter of education, health care and the arts, she was a member of UNT’s McConnell Society and 1890 Society. Together, the Dedmans established the Robert Dedman Chair in Club Management in the College of Merchandising, Hospitality and Tourism and, through the Dedman Foundation, created a graduate fellowship in hospitality at UNT.
