Kathryn “Kathy” Copeland, 86, who had served as an administrative assistant in the Department of Philosophy and Religion, died July 13 in Denton. She loved working with faculty and students at the university. She later moved to Corsicana with her husband, Benny Ray Copeland, Professor Emeritus of accounting. He died June 27. Survivors include two sons and a grandson, all graduates of UNT.
