Jimmie Lee Blassingame (’60), Levelland :: He lettered in track for four years during his time at North Texas. He married Marilyn Blassingame (’58) in Denton in 1957. He taught biology at Henrietta High School from 1960 to 1967 before becoming a biology professor at South Plains College, where he worked from 1967 to 1995.
