Jennifer Lake Monroe, 51, of Denton, an employee of UNT Libraries since 2015, died April 18, 2026. She began as an information technology specialist in 2015 and held several positions within UNT Libraries, most recently as IT service desk manager since 2022. She is remembered for her strong faith and her love for family and friends.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. May 5 at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N Locust St. in Denton. The funeral is at 10 a.m. May 6 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4501 Teasley Lane in Denton.
