James Richard ‘Dick’ Thornton (’50), Vancouver, Wash. He was a Navy veteran and a retired teacher and minister who had worked in Texas, Oregon and Washington. Survivors include his wife, Nita Watkins Thornton (’49, ’53 M.Ed.).
