He was a jet pilot in the U.S. Air Force and flew rescue helicopters in Guam. He loved golfing and being with his friends and family. At North Texas, he was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and its winning football team. Twelve of his brothers presented his widow Louise Silliman Reese (’57) with red roses.
