Helen Snodgrass Ryan (’38), New Braunfels :: She graduated with a degree in vocational home economics and went on to teach home economics at the high school level. After moving to College Station, she worked with her husband as the secretary-treasurer of the International Poultry Science Association. She also served on the board of trustees of the College Station Medical Center and was instrumental in the establishment of its chapel. At North Texas, she served as president of Alpha Chi and was active in the Ellen H. Richards Society and the W.N. Masters Chemical Society.
