He began working on the grounds and moving crews in the summers of his Denton High School years from 1969 to 1971, and went on to study at North Texas for two years. In 1972, he became the assistant director of the UNT Coliseum. Eventually, he joined the HVAC and welding teams and worked at the university for almost 30 years.
He was known as a devoted family man and especially appreciated his family’s support during his last 20 years of health struggles. He also loved fishing, and his ashes will be scattered among his favorite fishing spots.</main-content></item>
