Frankie E. Williams (’52), Austin :: She earned her biology degree, then received her medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center. She worked for the state MHMR department from 1957 to 1989, serving as clinical director of Big Spring State Hospital, superintendent of Vernon State Hospital and deputy commissioner of mental health services for the state. After retirement, she served outpatient clinics in central Texas.
