Emily Prahl, 23, of Frisco, a junior studio art major, died July 18, 2026. Emily showed a lifelong enthusiasm for art, always carrying a sketchbook, and music, playing the piano since kindergarten and the bassoon since sixth grade. A lover of animals, she took care of her dog, Lily, and six rescued chinchillas. She earned an associate degree from Collin College before specializing in new media at UNT, and her dream was to create her own video game.
