He later signed with the Oakland Raiders, where he played on the Super Bowl-winning team in 1981. He was inducted into the North Texas Athletics Hall of Fame in 2001 and named to the North Texas All-Century football team in 2013. He also worked as an actor, appearing in the movies Stir Crazy, The Candidate and House Party.
