Barry Bradford Telford (’70), 77, of De Kalb, died June 1, 2024. He graduated from North Texas with a degree from the College of Education and represented Northeast Texas counties in the Texas House of Representatives from 1987 to 2005. He wore many hats as owner of Telford Gas and Furniture and as a member of the De Kalb Masonic Lodge, the Maud Gun Club and the De Kalb First United Methodist Church. He had a cenotaph dedicated in his honor in October 2025 at Texas State Cemetery.
