Ayesha Louis, 46, of Melissa, died June 8, 2026. Ayesha was a doctoral student in educational psychology with a concentration in learning sciences. She ran her own business, Elite English and Virtual Solutions, and served as an advocate for survivors of domestic violence. She was a former teacher and tutor who earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and government from Southern University and A&M College at Baton Rouge and a master’s in curriculum and instruction from the University of Phoenix.
