Hazel M. Hadley

Hazel M. Hadley (’41), Palmyra, Penn. :: She worked as a mathematics teacher for various high schools and universities including the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and Ohio State University. She also worked as a civilian instructor in mathematics for the U.S. Navy V-5 and V-12 programs. She wrote many professional articles on mathematics teaching in various journals and the book Behold God’s Love: A Year of Meditations for Junior Highs. She was a charter member of Hershey Museum, member and past chairman of Palmyra Friends of the Library as well as charter member and past secretary of the Alpha and Omega Button Club. Hadley was active in church work all her life. At North Texas, she was elected to the Alpha Chi and Kappa Delta Pi national honor societies and, at the University of New Mexico, she was elected to Kappa Mu Epsilon.
