Jack Evans (’51), Dallas :: He worked as a real estate broker for 38 years. He and his husband, George Harris, were together for 55 years and they were the first same sex couple married in Dallas County after the Supreme Court’s 2015 ruling. Their wedding was featured in many media outlets, including People magazine. Jack helped found many LGBT organization, including The Dallas Way, an archives project housed at the UNT Libraries.
