U.S. News & World Report’s graduate school rankings

Four UNT graduate degree programs have been selected as among the nation’s best by U.S. News & World Report’s graduate school rankings. In addition, the College of Information is listed at No. 17 among the top 20 schools in the country.
In the College of Information, the health librarianship program is ranked in the top five nationally at No. 3. The services for children and youth program and the school library media program both earned top 15 rankings, listed at 13th and 11th, respectively. 
The College of Public Affairs and Community Service’s city management and urban policy graduate study program earned top 10 distinction and is ranked ninth in the country. 
The College of Visual Arts and Design ranks 58th out of 225 schools listed.
The College of Education is ranked 79th out of 179 graduate schools of education and ranked 55th out of 135 public universities. Out of the seven Texas emerging research universities, UNT’s College of Education was ranked first.
Also, UNT’s online M.B.A. degrees — one focused on marketing and one on strategic management — were named as a “best buy” by GetEducated.com. UNT is the largest provider of online credit courses among Texas public universities with almost 300 planned for the fall.
