UNT International provides intercultural experiences for students and faculty and showcases UNT's excellence to the world.
"Our mission is to contribute to the quality of life through education, research and outreach, with a sense of respect, tolerance, values, leadership opportunities and UNT spirit," says Gabriel Carranza, assistant vice provost for global engagement.
In addition to study abroad opportunities to learn about new cultures and languages, students can take part in dual degree programs that UNT offers in partnership with institutions around the world, such as the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México and, as part of a new partnership, the Burgundy School of Business in France. UNT International also provides international students with resources to help them become proficient in English and learn about American culture through programs and courses in UNT's Intensive English Language Institute. With such cross-cultural communication skills, international students leave UNT well-prepared for global work.
