UNT brings world-renowned guest speakers and artists to campus, providing students with new ideas and new experiences (read the UNT News story about visting artists and lecturers). Over the years, the university has welcomed such interesting guests as Coretta Scott King in 2005, Lyndon B. Johnson in 1959 and John Denver in 1971-72.
