Doherty's photographs, which have focused on the "complex relationship between the natural environment and human agency," can be seen Feb. 4-March 12 at UNT ArtSpace Dallas. "It is a profound honor to be recognized in my home state," Doherty says. Museums around the world have exhibited her works. Gaillardia is pictured.
