Two UNT professors selected as Fulbright Senior Specialists will share their expertise and strengthen UNT’s global connections this fall.

James Kennedy, professor of biology, will teach a course on sub-Antarctic ecology at the University of Magallanes in Punta Arenas, Chile, and work on developing a long-term dual degree program in bio-cultural conservation between the two universities.

James Meernik, professor of political science and interim associate dean for administrative affairs in the College of Arts and Sciences, will teach a graduate-level course on post-conflict peace building at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico in Toluca and help establish a partnership with the university that focuses on immigration research.
