Jessy Diamba, a junior broadcast and digital journalism major, was selected this spring to attend the White House's College Reporter Day, an opportunity for student reporters to discuss issues relevant to college campuses with senior administration officials. President Barack Obama made a surprise appearance at the students' mock White House press briefing and took questions from Diamba about his proudest achievement in office and his future plans.
