I had the pleasure of spending time in what was then the old Union Building in its last days when I started in 1974, and much enjoyed the remodeled building until graduation. My favorite memory of the UB was the scent of flame-broiled burgers sizzling from the second-floor grill restaurant. The other is hearing the Lab Band playing downstairs near the water rock garden.
