Paul Poston Sr., 100, received a UNT Presidential Citation in November nearly 76 years after leaving UNT to serve in World War II. The citation, presented by Brenda McCoy, vice provost for academic outreach, recognized Poston's willingness to sacrifice his education goals to support the war effort. Poston, who attended UNT from the late 1930s until the early 1940s, withdrew one semester shy of earning his degree.
