UNT’s new Life Sciences Complex combines the existing classrooms and labs of the Biology Building with a new 87,000-square-foot LEED certified building of additional research space. The new space houses open labs filled with shared equipment to facilitate greater collaboration. It includes a four-cell roof-top greenhouse and an aquatic lab with 2,500 fresh and saltwater tanks. The complex features north-facing labs to use natural light and a 20,000-gallon rainwater collection tank to water landscaping. Read more about UNT's Life Sciences Complex. >>
