Michelle Gillaspie ('14) had to work 20 hours on New Year's Eve -- "but I loved every second of it!"

Gillaspie, who majored in theatre, helps handle the pyrotechnics as an entertainment tech at Epcot Center at Disney World -- a job she landed after participating in the Disney Professional Internship program. She works mostly on the show "IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth."

"I love the same thing that I've always enjoyed about working in theatre -- the sense of family that you form with the people you work with," she says. "Blowing stuff up every night for thousands of guests on a show that moves people to tears is pretty cool too."
