Michael Jones, a doctoral student majoring in chemistry, traveled to Germany to meet and network with Nobel Prize winners during the 65th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting this summer. The event brought students together with laureates in physiology, medicine, physics and chemistry. Jones was one of 672 attendees from 88 countries who participated in this year's event.

Working with faculty mentor Angela Wilson, Regents Professor of chemistry, Jones combines physics, chemistry, math and computer science in his research to find answers to biological problems, including what triggers cancer.
