New community service recognition initiative to honor volunteerism

UNT is engaged with communities in the North Texas region through service, partnerships and collaborations. And our alumni make up a big part of that effort. When you volunteer your time, you are making North Texas communities stronger and embodying the best of UNT. UNT is launching an initiative to honor volunteers and support the university’s culture of engagement. In addition to faculty, staff and students, we want to acknowledge alumni who provide service in their communities and get a better sense of the many ways you serve. To participate, fill out the Community Engagement Volunteer Recognition form and tell us about your volunteer efforts by Nov. 30. On the form, you can select whether you would like to be recognized as part of the UNT President’s Community Engagement Volunteer Honor Roll, which will be unveiled at a later date.
