UNT logistics students captured a three-peat victory at the 2015 Intermodal Association of North America's fifth Intermodal EXPO Academic Challenge. Seniors Mary Catherine Schoals, Ripley Wren and Laura Catalina Quinones Rios bested fellow students from four of the nation's top logistics programs to win first place, marking the third year in a row a UNT team has won.

The event challenged students to find innovative solutions to help the transportation industry address a severe shortage of truck drivers. The students developed creative case solutions to bring millennials and others into the trucking industry.
