Rebecca Finberg

Rebecca Finberg ('10), Denton is the executive director of the Denton Animal Support Foundation. She is the first paid professional in the nine-year history of the volunteer-run organization. She has worked at the North Texas Food Bank, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Children’s Medical Center. Also, she is pursuing a UNT master’s degree in public administration, specializing in nonprofit management. When she was an undergraduate, she was active in the Student Government Association and Delta Gamma and was an orientation leader. She says one of her favorite experiences at UNT was the summer she was an orientation leader: “Being surrounded by peers who loved our institution and took the opportunity to instill that pride into thousands of new students was an experience I will not soon forget.”
