Rebecca Burkhardt

Rebecca Burkhardt (M.M.Ed.), Waterloo, Iowa joined the University of Northern Iowa as director of orchestral activities in 1988. She served as associate director for graduate studies in the UNI School of Music from 2005 to 2010, and is a member of the music theory and conducting faculties. She served as the national president of the College Orchestra Directors Association from 2008 to 2010. A musical she co-wrote, A Scotch Verdict, was presented in 2008 as a part of Stages, a musical festival sponsored by Theatre Building Chicago.
