He first served as an administrative judge and then as a regional director/ chief administrative judge for many years with the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board in Chicago and then Atlanta. The last 25 years of government service was spent as a U.S. Administrative Law Judge with the Social Security Administration’s Office of Hearings Operations in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Spokane, Washington.
