Pat Van Burkleo

Pat Van Burkleo, Baton Rouge, La. who attended North Texas from 1979 to 1983, was named National Executive of the Year by Boys & Girls Clubs of America. He has served as president of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Baton Rouge for 22 years. During his tenure there, the Boys & Girls Club has gone from one club location that served 65 boys, to 11 clubs that serve nearly 10,000 school-age youth annually.
