Michael Maguire

Michael Patrick ‘Pat’ Maguire, Kerrville, was elected 198th District Judge in 2023. The court hears civil and felony criminal cases in Kerr and Bandera Counties. Maguire earned a bachelor’s in political science at UNT and his law degree at Texas Tech University School of Law. He practiced law for 25 years in Kerrville, where he also was a municipal judge for 19 years. He served on the State Commission on Judicial Conduct from 2020 to 2022.
