Stanley-Stevens joined the Tarleton faculty in 1995 as assistant professor. She has authored or had scholarly articles appear in more than two dozen publications, including a book, What They Didn’t Know When They Were Expecting: And How They Became Better Parents (2012). Stanley-Stevens has received numerous honors for her work, including the 2012 A&M System Award for Excellence in Teaching and the 2005 Tarleton Faculty Excellence in Scholarship Award.Yesclass-notes
