Kevin Salfen

Kevin Salfen ('97, ’99 M.M., ’05 Ph.D.), San Antonio was granted tenure at the University of the Incarnate Word, where he is associate professor of music. He has published articles in several journals and is a member of the international troupe Theatre Nohgaku, with which he performed the classic Japanese play Sumida River this fall. He also continues to compose music, and his score for the production of Icarus was featured at the Region VII Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in 2013. His favorite UNT memory was “forming friendships with extraordinary musicians and inspiring faculty.”
